I got my first requested grad school catalogue in the mail today, and realized how painfully behind I am in preparing to apply for Fall '09.
Okay, maybe not PAINFULLY behind. Not yet. But I do have to get quite a bit done in the next six months. So right now I'm doing some reading, studying up on some techniques I'd like to try, and conceptualizing some new pieces to put into a portfolio. Cross your fingers for me, those of you reading, that I'm allowed back into the school's darkroom!

It's coming up... March 7th. I'll be finding out whether or not they've accepted my work on February 15th. So... keep your fingers crossed! It'll be a big shot in the arm for me and my work if I get in. I'm optimistic, but cautiously so. I think, and have been told by a few different people, that my work would fit in really well with the overall feel of the show.
I've submitted "Tossed," "Sleep," and "Winged #1" as .jpegs on CD, and I listed "Voyeur" in my proposal, along with ideas for two new pieces. Because I really need to have some new work to display, since four of the pieces have already been shown once.
